Sine Flu

An endless runner across six strains of sine wave. Stomp viruses, earn vaccines, get stronger — and try not to catch the flu.

The whole game is one 1.2 MB Windows exe. It fits on a floppy disk. Made for the 1.44MB Game Dev Contest(https://2pgarcade.com/contest-144mb.html)

HOW IT WORKS

- You run along a living waveform on an oscilloscope screen. Six harmonics (H1–H6) weave across the screen, and every run shuffles where they start and end.

- Numbered disks move you to another harmonic. Higher harmonics run faster: the world and the music speed up from 1x on H1 to 2x on H6.

- Viruses ride the waves in ten beat-driven jump patterns. Stomp them from above, or read the beat and run underneath.

- Every few viruses you earn a VACCINE: pick 1 of 2 upgrade cards. Every card has a side effect — higher jumps, double jump, air dash, shields, magnets… paid for in hearts, speed, or max HP. The virus count for the next vaccine grows each time (3, 5, 9, 15, 23…).

- Health is your size. Take a hit and you shrink; reach 0 and the run ends.

- One run, one score. Beat your best.

CONTROLS

- A / D or Left / Right : move

- Space : jump (land on a virus to stomp it)

- Shift : air dash (after the AIR DASH vaccine)

- Esc : pause · A / D while paused : volume · Q while paused : quit

- R or Enter : retry
